Letter to Margo

Forty Five years have gone by when the winter Sun was shining and the whole countryside was glistening, glowing and gleaming in the Heart-warming glory and lustre of the All-pervading and permeating Self-Eternal. This country-boy, then seventeen years old, set out to join the nation in its fight for national liberation. Indeed did this boy take the vow of fighting for the emancipation of the Mother that India is and has always been and Sri Bhagavan in His Infinite Grace and Mercy enabled him to fulfill the vow taken on the afternoon of Sunday January 26, 1930.
On the attainment of the complete Independence for India Śrī Arunāchaleswara Shiva Bhagavān Śrī Ramana Dakshinamūrty Paramātmā fulfilled this boy's another childhood dream and deposited him on the soil of the New World so that he could work out his own destiny for the complete and total inherence in the Self in the Cavity of his Heart. One day Śrī Bhagavān caught this majestic, marvelous, magnetic and mighty Margo and brought her to His Śrī Arunāchala Ashrama to give support, sympathy and sustenance to this village boy who has been trudging along, trudging along to the Holy Hill of the Beacon Light. The moment this tall and towering timber of faith, friendship and felicity walked into His Abode, this son and servitor of his Master and Lord, Bhagavān Śrī Ramana Maharshi, was filled with the exceptional experience that she belongs to Śrī Bhagavān and Śrī Bhagavān alone. I have been profiting from her presence night and day and pray Śrī Bhagavān be ever with Srimatī Margo Martin Deviji, our dearest friend.
