Margo Martin, who had the grace of Sri Bhagavan, arriving at the Arunachala Ashrama in 1973, was absorbed at his feet at around 4 am on January 17, 2023 in New York. Despite her failing health for the past few years, Margo remained steadfast as an ardent devotee of Bhagavan, practising his teachings and spiritual instructions. Margo participated in Satsangs and often read favourite sections, such as from Gems. She took great care of numerous succulent plants at the NY Ashrama and loved to share her favourite ice creams with fellow devotees. Margo will always be remembered as a cheerful and peaceful devotee of Bhagavan. At Sri Ramanashramam, in the meditation hall, a Moksha Deepam has been lit for Margo.
