This page describes how we

service subscriptions to 'The Maharshi' newsletter,
process orders placed in our on-line bookstore and
present information of interest to devotees of Sri Ramana Maharshi.

Except for bookstore orders and newsletter subscriptions this site does not use cookies or other tracking technologies for any web pages.

We do log access to most mp3 and pdf files provided via https://media.ashrama.org/ links that only load if the referer is among the Ashrama domains
to prevent leeching of those resources (ie, minimize abuse). Only the timestamp and ip address are stored to see which resources are being requested.

The Ashrama uses mailing list software (currently SendGrid and Mailchimp) to distribute 'The Maharshi' newsletter announcements to subscribers. Their privacy policies are beyond our control. please refer to the mailchimp Contacts Privacy and the SendGrid Services Privacy Policy pages.
