Daughters of

Manavasi Ramaswami lyer was the son of Venkatarama Iyer of Manavasi Village of Trichy District, In 1907, Ramaswami Iyer was transferred to Villupuram, a town sixty 60 Kilometers away from Tiruvannamalai. At that time, he was in his late thirties. During the Karthigai Deepam Festival he came to Tiruvannamalai. That was when he first met Bhagavan. Soon, he was posted to Tiruvannamalai, and the entire family had plenty of opportunities to visit Bhagavan. He was blessed with three daughters and a son. The children were as devoted to Bhagavan as their parents were. They spent a happy childhood playing with Bhagavan and spending their time in the ashrama. Bhagavan guided them in many ways all through their lives. They imbibed the devotion and love their father had for Bhagavan and lived an enriched life in the trust that Bhagavan was always with them.
