Nambiar wrote a note in Sanskrit, “I have no other refuge; you are my only support Oh Ramaneshwara! Therefore, have mercy on me and protect me." Bhagavan took it up, read it with a smile and gave it back commenting upon the parody I had made in the well-known sloka. When I resumed my seat, Sri Bhagavan was steadily looking at me. That gracious look directed at me set my mind completely at rest.
