From the Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ):

Car Rentals:

You can rent a car from the airport, but make sure one is available before you book your airline tickets. please see https://halifaxstanfield.ca/parking-transport/rental-cars/ or Costco travel.

Car service:

There are shuttle services available from: annapolisvalleytravel.com 902 824-3131,
This gives you door to door service. charges/person

Also tri-starcharters.com 902 742-2900; charges/person

A&G Taxi (902)309-1663 Charges/trip, has minivan that can take up to 6 people

Bridgetown Taxi (902)665-0057 Charges/trip can take 3-4 people if not too much luggage.

Bus service:

The Maritime Bus service goes from the airport to Kentville,NS. Someone could pick you up at the Kentville bus terminal and bring you to the Ashrama. Check times for connections before you book your flights, there might be only one bus run a day.

From the U.S. by car:

follow Rt.95 North to Bangor, Maine
take the Exit for Rt.395 (near mile 188 on the Maine tpk)
From Rt.395 take the first exit (~1 mi from Rt.95)
after crossing the river for Rt.9 East
follow Rt.9 (~90mi) to the Calais-ME, St.Stephen-NB border crossing.
follow signs for Rt.1 to St.John, which is 65 miles from St. Stephen.

Taking the ferry gives you 2 or 3 hours of rest and saves 6 hours of driving around the Bay of Fundy.
You should be at the terminal an hour ahead of time.
Take exit 120 and follow signs to get to the ferry

New Brunswick is Atlantic Standard Time,
11am in the New England states is noon in Eastern Canada.

When departing the boat in Digby, follow traffic to the highway, Rt.101 East.
after you go under the highway
the entrance to 101 East will be on your left.

take the first exit for Bridgetown - Exit 21 (approx 40 mi from Digby)
follow signs to beautiful downtown Bridgetown - about 2 miles.
In downtown Bridgetown, the road becomes one-way against your direction
and you are forced to turn right.
after that right turn you take the first left,
go to the Stop sign (two short blocks), turn right,
then take your first left again (about 100 feet) onto Church Road.
follow this road 1 1/2 miles out of town to the bottom of North Mtn.
go right on Clarence Rd. about 1 1/2 miles.
the Arunachala Ramana Mandiram will be on the right of a curve in the road.
