1 sevakapātakaśamanam daivam mānasavāñicitaphaladam daivam sajjanarakṣaṇacaturam daivam durjanamardanaparuṣam daivam
Quells the sins of the devout, Mother Divine,
Grants the fruits desired, Mother Divine
Protects adeptly the virtuous, Mother Divine
Destroys with might the evil ones, Mother Divine
२ भास्करबिम्बे दीप्तम् दैवम् लोचनमध्ये सुप्तम् दैवम् सितकरमण्दलगुप्तम् दैवम् त्रिगुणितभुवनव्याप्तम् दैवम्
2 bhāskarabimbe dīptam daivam locanamadhye suptam daivam sitakaramaṇdalaguptam daivam triguṇitabhuvanavyāptam daivam
Shines as the splendour in the radiant Sun, Mother Divine
Slumbers betwixt the eyes, Mother Divine
Abides veiled in the cool region of the Moon, Mother Divine
Pervades the world of three gunas, Mother Divine
३ बहुशतcऎटीसहितं दैवम् रॆणुसमष्त्या विहितं दैवम् अम्बरसौधॆ निहितं दैवम् भैरववदना’भिहितं दैवम्
3 bahuśataceṭīsahitam daivam reṇusamaṣtyā vihitam daivam ambarasaudhe nihitam daivam bhairavavadanā’bhihitam daivam
Holding court, served by thousands of yoginis, Mother Divine
Bears the Earth in entirety with every speck, Mother Divine
Flashes as lightning in the sky, Mother Divine
Lights up with joy the visage of Bhairava, Mother Divine
४ असुरुcइपद्याभूतम् दैवम् वसुरुद्रार्कैर्गीतं दैवम् क्षितिजलशुcइषुप्रॊतं दैवम् शीतमतिभिः समधीतम् दैवम्
4 asurucipadyābhūtam daivam vasurudrārkairgītam daivam kṣitijalaśuciṣuprotam daivam śītamatibhiḥ samadhītam daivam
Emerges as the breath and flavour of poesy, Mother Divine
Sung by the host of Adithyas Rudras and Vasus, Mother Divine
Threads the Earth water and the firmament, Mother Divine
Remains as the form of Vedas in intellects sharpened, Mother Divine

Stays as sweetness in all forms endearing, Mother Divine
Prevails as the Universe in the knowers of Tatwa, Mother Divine
And as blank void in beings without good qualities, Mother Divine
६ cआलकमवन्cः शक्त्याः दैवम् सम्पाद्वारा द्ऱ्श्यं दैवम् दॊग्ध्रिमनुवरVअcयं दैवम् विदधद्विनतमशॊcयं दैवम्
6 cālakamavancḥ śaktyāḥ daivam sampādvārā dṟśyam daivam dogdhrimanuvaraVacyam daivam vidadhadvinatamaśocyam daivam
The kinetic energy that activates the world, Mother Divine
Perceived through a flash of lightening, Mother Divine
Hailed as the Cow Divine that grants ever and anon, Mother Divine
And the bestower of freedom from fear for discerning devotees, Mother Divine
७ शैलॆ शैलॆ विहरद्दैवम् विपिनॆ विपिनॆ विcअरद्दैवम् ग्रमॆ ग्रमॆ ख्यतं दैवम् णगरॆ नगरॆ प्रथितं दैवम्

८ परितॊ व्यॊम्नि निराक्ऱ्ति दैवम् स्वर्गॆ पौलॊम्याक्ऱ्ति दैवम् हिमवति गौरीरूपं दैवम् तनुषु प्रानाकारं दैवम्
8 parito vyomni nirākṟti daivam svarge paulomyākṟti daivam himavati gaurīrūpam daivam tanuṣu prānākāram daivam
Strides the space, sans form and unseen, Mother Divine
Stays embodied as Indrani in the land of celestials, Mother Divine
Shines as the Form of White Immaculate Gowri, daughter of Himavan, Mother Divine

Half of the body of ONE who wielded the divine Hill (Meru) as the bow, Mother Divine
Permeating and filling in full all the three worlds, Mother Divine
