Hindsight
I lost everything on my computer recently which I may or may not get back.
I spilled water in it and then got a new Mac Pro
which crashed when I tried to restore all my stuff.
So, the screen of my life is blank and all my attachments and downloads are gone!
I wish!
Seeing the empty screen with no memory of me is a strange relief.
It is like when they first told me I had lung cancer.[1]
Everything seemed to clear away and I could breathe without fear.
Months later, when they told me I was healthy and going to live,
the screen filled up again with all my stuff and the worries and stories came back.
How to remain the blank screen?
