Beloved V.Sundaram Ramanan
president 1994 - 2020 of Sri Ramanasramam,
merged in ArunachalaRamana
09:20 Tue 21 July 2020

Sri Ramanasramam is very sad to report the departure of our dear Sundaram anna. Through his dedicated service he was a shining example of service to Ashram and devotees. He never left the lotus feet of Bhagavan. He is ever there.

At 9:20 am today Tuesday July 21st he left his mortal coil. The wonderful state of the Ashrama bears testimony to his wonderful service. We pray to Bhagavan that He may give strength to his beloved ones to bear this tragedy with serene faith in the hand of the Almighty.

We are bowing to Sri Bhagavan and thanking him for granting his great devotee peace.

Some of you perhaps never met this remarkable man, who was the embodiment of gentleness and an unwavering inspiration in his quiet and deep devotion to our Guru, Sri Bhagavan and His sacred family.

Each one of us has his or her own individual relationship with Bhagavan and with His Ashram.

On this solemn occasion and in the spirit of our tradition, let us honor this precious connection deep in our hearts.

Thank you so very much for sharing your love for Sri Sundaram; father, president, uncle, friend in this evening's beautiful program of remembrance and joy. Reflecting on our years of visiting Sri Ramanasramam, New York ashram and Nova Scotia ashram, we can only express our love and gratitude to all who dedicated, and still dedicate, their lives to the service of Bhagavan's devotees. We are so very blessed. May Sri Sundaram's example live on in our hearts.

Sashtiabdhapurti

Sri V.S.Ramanan's Sashtiabdhapurti,
completion of 60 years of life, was grandly
celebrated at the Ashram on June 16. His
wife, Smt. Susila was a picture of happiness
throughout the function; so too were
his children and near and dear ones !
Devotees blessed this fortunate couple
profusely, while the youngsters, in their
turn, received the blessings from Sri
Ramanan and Smt.Susila, on that happy day.
